New Year, New Look, New Name!

Welcome to my new look website! For 2006, I felt I need to have a New Year's Resolution. Now, this isn't your run of the mill resolution. It's a bit more serious than that. My New Year's Resolution is to refocus and rededicate myself to a very important issue - POW/MIA awareness. Many make the mistake that this is an old or dead issue. It's not dead unless WE allow it to die, and I will not allow it to die! It's not old, it did not die at the end of the Vietnam War.

Re-dedication

Now that I've made some format changes, now it's time to refocus and rededicate. This website is dedicated to all men and women who have sacrificed and served our country, and those who have yet to come home. This site will remain up until they all come home.

Call To Action - Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for POW/MIA Affairs

On December 2nd, 2005, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for POW/MIA Affairs (DASD) Jerry D. Jennings resigned after a tenure distrust between himself and POW/MIA families. Right now we have an important opportunity to encourage President Bush to nominate an individual dedicated to the POW/MIA issue, that also has or can earn the trust of POW/MIA families. Such an individual has submitted his resume for the position and has earned the endorsement of four POW/MIA groups.

The National Alliance of POW/MIA Families, the Korea/Cold War Families of the Missing, the Korean War POW/MIA Network and the Coalition of Families of Korean & Cold War POW/MIAs have all endorsed Mr. Norman Kass for the position of Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for POW/MIA Affairs. For more information, please visit the National Alliance of POW/MIA Families web site at www.nationalalliance.org

I have not forgotten!

I have not forgotten that there are still (according to the Department of Defense) 1,808 Americans missing from the Vietnam war! While it may seem I lose focus of that from time to time, I have not forgotten. The reason I started this website was to help pressure the federal government for a full and complete accounting for every one of those still missing. Of those still missing, my adopted POW/MIA, Ronald Babcock from Tucson, Arizona. I will still be here until they all come home.
